My Design Process
Any size project from start to completion.

Initial Consultation to determine the scope of the project, and understand the client's timeline, functional needs, wishes, and lifestyle.

Detailed cost estimate of our design fees for your project. This is done before any deposits are collected.

Once design fees are approved, we move forward with design development, scaled floor plans, and selection of all furniture and finishes.

We schedule a presentation meeting to share all design options with the client. Including, scaled floor plans, elevations, material samples, photo collages, and hand renderings. This may require more than one scheduled appointment, depending on size & scope of your project.

We prepare and help collect all quotes and estimates relevant to your type of project.

Once designs are approved, we will place all orders for custom projects and store furniture until delivery. For remote or non-custom projects, we can assist with ordering, or send you a shopping list with links to order yourself.

Selection of all Art and Accessories before installation.
- 8
Schedule Delivery & Installation of all draperies, furniture, art, and accessories.

My Story
How I Got Started
My career began with an internship at McMillin Interiors. I graduated in 2003 from Louisiana State University with a Bachelors Degree in Interior Design, and then became a fulltime designer at the firm. Carrie Griffin Design was founded in 2010.
I have always had a love for art and design.
I believe in getting to know the client, so that the spaces we end up with reflect their personality and lifestyle. We also guide them through every stage of a project to create a cohesive look, while always adding something unexpected.
